My DJ career began in radio and private events during high school (KRSM Radio) and in college at Wake Forest University (WAKE Radio). After graduation, I became a professional DJ and Event Coordinator, playing numerous public and private events and acting as resident DJ for various restaurants, lounges, and nightclubs. In the meantime, earned my master's degree at Duke University in GLS focusing on Ethnomusicology and Music History. After graduation, I continued my work at Duke as Co-Planner of the annual "Across The Threshold" international arts & music conference series.
I later became the Owner and Head DJ of the award-winning Mosaic Lounge, where I planned, hosted, and played countless events with diverse musical themes including Russian, Latin, Arabic, Afro, jazz, house, EDM, disco, hip hop, top 40, and more. There, I also continued my work in event production as Co-Planner of the annual Mosaic Music Festivals showcasing music, art, and DJ talent from around the world. Apart from local events, I spend extended amounts of time living in and traveling around Mexico, Spain, and the UK. I have also performed across the globe at events including the Mi Casa Music Holiday in Playa Del Carmen and at the Miami Winter Music Conference, as well as events in London, Ibiza, New Orleans, and other locations. I now reside in Southern California, where I perform several events a week around the greater San Diego area, act as Owner/Head DJ of Bunn DJ Company (Southern California office) and host the Gran Reserva radio show on Dancegruv Radio showcasing global underground dance and lounge music.
My career in the DJ/Event Services industry has spanned the majority of my life and my extensive experience has taught me valuable lessons and insight that I use at every event. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to follow my passion and do what I love!
