ABOUT ME

    My music career has spanned nearly my entire life, beginning in choir at around age 7. I am a classically-trained vocalist beginning in grade school with the Texas State Choir and St. Mark’s Choir, and performing hundreds of events at locations in Texas, around the Midwest, and across Europe including Notre Dame (Paris), Mont San-Michel (Normandy), St. Paul's Cathedral (London), St. David's Cathedral (Wales), and Yorkminster Cathedral (York). While in college, I sang with the Wake Forest University Chorus alongside poet Maya Angelou during the live musical premier of her presidential inaugural poem, “On The Pulse of Morning.” 

    My DJ career began shortly afterwards in my teens in High School radio (KRSM) and private events in my hometown of Dallas, Texas. I continued in private events and at WAKE College Radio at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I then became a professional DJ/ Event Coordinator in Raleigh/Durham, playing numerous private events and acting as Resident DJ for restaurants, lounges, and nightclubs (Lincoln Theatre, Red Room, Helios, April & George, Bogart's, Aries, Solas, Riviera, Babylon) as well as performing at events across the globe including numerous appearances at the Mi Casa Music Holiday (Playa Del Carmen, MEX) and the Miami Winter Music Conference, as well as appearances in London, Ibiza, New Orleans, and other locations. I learned Spanish while studying in Mexico and Spain during my High School and college years, and then later while earning my Master's Degree at Duke University in GLS focusing on Ethnomusicology and Music History. I continued my work in Music/Event Production at Duke as Co-Planner/Music Director of the "Across The Threshold" Arts & Music Conference Series. I later became the Music Director/Head DJ and then Owner of the award-winning internationally-themed Mosaic Lounge 2005-2017, where I planned, hosted, and played events with diverse musical themes including Latin, Arabic/Persian, House, Afro, jazz, EDM, disco, funk, hip hop, top 40, and more. I also continued my work there in event production as Co-Planner of the annual Mosaic Music Festivals flying in and showcasing diverse music, art, and DJ talent from around the world. I also hosted the Gran Reserva radio show on Dancegruv Radio featuring global underground dance and lounge music 2017-2021. I currently reside with my family in San Diego where I perform several times a week and act as Owner/Head DJ of Bunn DJ Company (Southern California office).   

   My career in the DJ / Event Services industry has spanned most of my life and my extensive experience has taught me valuable lessons and insight that I continue using at every event I play. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to follow my passion  for music and do what I love!
